How to AutoSave Microsoft Word 2007
Documents
Here is a quick tip to help you save your Microsoft 2007 Word
Documents. Had this happen today with a client and this will give
you peace of mind if you happen to forget to save a project you are
working on.
Follow along....
* Open Microsoft Word 2007
* Click
on the "Save" or "Save As" button (even though you may not have
typed in any text yet)
* Look at the New window that opens up
* In the lower left hand corner you will see a word "Tools" with a
down arrow next to it
* Click
the Down arrow next to the word "Tools"
* Another window will open up

* Click
the word "Save Options"
* A new window will pop up
* the first Heading is "Save Documents"
* See "Save Auto Recovery" make sure the box next to it is
checked
* next to the minutes select the time you prefer (It defaults to 10)
minutes, I changed mine to "3"
* Go to bottom of this window and click
"Save"
